2007: Good Year for Female CEOs

The Fortune 500 now employs 12 female CEOs, and stock performance in their organizations is on par with the 97.6 percent of Fortune 500 companies headed by men. When Meg Whitman became CEO of eBay in 1998, a share sold for $1.97; the share price has increased 1,549 percent since then.
