CEOs Pick Their Favorite States for Business

For the past three years the results of Chief Executive magazine’s annual "Best & Worst States" survey have been the same -- Texas and Nevada are the best places to do business and California and New York are the worst. CEOs rated their states on an assortment of topics including taxation and regulation, workforce quality, and living environment. Texas and Nevada got high grades for not having an income tax while California and New York were slammed for high taxes and over regulation.
