At 101, Man Vies for World’s Oldest Marathoner Title

Buster Martin, who currently holds the record for Britain’s oldest employee, is now trying for the title of world’s oldest marathon runner. The 101-year-old recently completed a half marathon and is now training for the London Marathon on April 13. If he finishes, Martin already knows how he’ll celebrate. “I'll do what I always do and have a pint and a fag,” he said. “People ask what is my secret but I haven't got one. They say fags and booze are bad for you -- but I'm still here, aren't I?”
