A Ukrainian veterinarian's life has changed dramatically since Guinness World Records recognized him as the tallest living human. Leonid Stadnik, who is 2.57 meters tall (8 feet 5 inches), still has to stoop to enter buildings and suffers from constant knee pain, but he no longer goes without shoes or properly fitting clothing. Since Stadnik set the record, people from around the world have sent him gifts such as shoes for his 17-inch feet, track suits, a giant-sized bicycle so he can ride to a nearby village for groceries, and even a computer. "I have always dreamt that my life and the life of my loved ones ... would become more comfortable," Stadnik said. "My dream is coming true."
