Sculpture Torn Down Due to Color

A sculpture in Tianjin, China, that cost 2 million yuan ($286,000) and took nearly two years to complete was dismantled three weeks before its unveiling because a local vice-mayor didn't like the color. Qu Jianxiong, "Fly's" designer, said the official's opinion "was enough to seal 'Fly's' death sentence."
